County names family services director

Lisa Ruiz-Lee was named Thursday as director of Clark County's Department of Family Services.Ruiz-Lee has served as interim director of the department since August 2011.During that time, the department saw a 60 percent spike in the number of adoptions from 446 in 2010 to 719 in 2011. The increase was attributed to eliminating barriers such as paying some associated court costs, opening up court calendars to conduct adoption days and waiving home ...
